They called my cell phone and didn't leave a message.

calls repeatedly during weekdays before 5pm. Never leaves a message

get the same as other reports. calls, hangs up, no message. just annoying.

Why is the person calling me and not leaving a message. We don't know this number

called and threatened me with arrest and stated that i need to come up with $3500.00 within the next 2 hours our they would come arrest me at my home.

Received a call this evening from Privacy Manager when answered they said to press 1 to find out who was calling I did and they said call was from time warner but the person I was suppose to be holding for was no longer on the line

They called about 20 times every 2-3 mins and say nothing then sounds like its beeping on the other end

After receiving more than 30 calls, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and call them back. I called over and over just to tie up their phone line. I would ask what their favorite movie was, if they liked coffee, what their favorite color was, ect. I figured as long as one of them was wasting their time on the phone with me, that was one less person they could call and scam. I kept getting passed up the chain of comman until I finally spoke to the supervisor who said my name would be removed and they would not call me again. It has been almost 5 days and I have not received a call. The BBB and FTC aren't doing anything to help us consumers so this seemed to be an effective way to annoy them. I could tell they were getting upset, but they have to answer the phone each time it rings just in case it might be someone they could get money from. Try it for yourself! same thing here - I just subscribed to LA times. Don't know what the call is about but it is annoying. I haven't answered it because I didn't know who it was and they leave no message. I tried calling the # back and it says something about "telemarketer service" and "you can't leave a message here".

I received several phone calls from this company as well...it was a recording after saying that I was not able to receive calls on my job of this magnatutde the person on the phone got smart and very loud with me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and some man got on the phone and said he would have to listen to the tapes but I doubt anything will be done. I contacted another place and they said that the don't even beleive this is a real company at all.....so I am very skeptical now about giving them any money what so ever.
